“What’s God plan for your life?” Have you ever asked or thought about that? Probably, but you can’t figure out everything God has planned for you or what He is doing: it is beyond your conception. If His plans were something you could dream up, they would probably be something you could achieve on your own. His plans are more pleasing than yours. His love creates an awe-inspiring future for you. Ephesians 3:20-21 “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us. Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end, Amen.”

God’s plans for you are exceedingly abundantly better than you can even imagine to hope for. What a glorious futures awaits you! Today, thank Him for his extraordinary plans, and give Him all the glory! “And to know the love of Christ, which passeth knowledge, that ye might be filled with all the fullness of God.” Ephesians 3:19.

When taking a trip or on a “journey” it is very helpful to use a map/directions, true. No different in your “journey” with God. It is a glorious journey and He does have a plan for you (Psalm 32:8, Jeremiah 29:11). Here are four important practices to incorporate in your life (TASK) to discern God’s will for you and for you to enjoy the journey with Him:

1. Trust Him. God loves His children and absolutely wants a relationship with you. Do you have one with Him?

2. Ask Him. Do you know what you are seeking? Do you have an idea? Have you ask God, your heavenly Father, for His leading, His directing, His purpose for you? Ask Him (Matthew 7:7…) Be sure to remember it is His plan for you not your plan for yourself.

3. Seek Him. God has given us a map to take the journey. He has even given all believers a guide, The Holy Spirit, to instruct and comfort along the way. But we must be responsible to read the directions and to trust them. Study to show yourself approved (2 Timothy 2:15). Notice the first word-Study. Don’t skip the study, the search, the seeking of God’s leading for you found in His Word.

4. Keep trusting, asking, seeking (Luke 11:5-13). God enjoys fellowship with you and loves to show you. Enjoy His presence and what He is “showing” you along the way.

Don’t rush the trip, watch out for potholes, and mostly enjoy the journey!
