I read article after article that describe how socially connected we are but at the same time loneliness is at an all time high. We are connected to the world while at the same time isolated from everyone. Or so it seems. However, Proverbs 5:21 tells us we are never alone. “For the ways of man (meaning all) are before the eyes of the LORD, and he pondereth (carefully watches/examines) all his (her) goings. This verse can be very comforting and very convicting. No matter where we are, what we are doing, or where we are going, we are never ever alone. God is always there. He is omnipresent (present everywhere), omniscient (knows everything), omnipotent (all powerful), immutable (never changes)- Hallelujah! Allow this reminder to comfort you when feeling lonely and to convict when feeling isolated.
You are never alone!
